loha everybody. I am taking this class because I am considering becoming a preschool teacher after I am done with my education. I am currently working as a behavioral technician with an autistic child and I work as a skills trainer at a middle school with an older child. I sometimes get to sub in preschool classes as a skills trainer. I took ECED 340 a couple years ago when I was working full time at a preschool. I have a lot of experience documenting the actions of children because I have to take data on children as part of my job. I do not have much experience assessing children because that is usually the role of the teacher or the BCBA (Board certified behavior analyst). Before my job with children I worked as a veterinary technician and then as a manager at a animal rescue sanctuary on Maui. I also have my own pet sitting business that I do on the side. I walk dogs and take care of people's pets while they are on holiday. I enjoy animals and children and hope that I can do my best to support them in any way possible.
